The eyes that talk

Lourdes and Mentxu sisters convinced me. There is no obstacle they cannot avoid. And that even though they suffer a functional diversity named ‘double congenital athetosis’, that provokes disorder and prevents them from controlling their movements.
Every meeting with them brings so many words to my mind. Admiration, normality, coquetry, femininity. I cross my barriers and then I just see two women. And what a couple of women! They are both extremely intelligent and sensitive.
I become spectator of the deep love in Lourdes and Tulio marriage, who met each other through Internet and ended up with a honeymoon in Peru, Tulio’s home country. I also discover Mentxu’s art, of her paintings, of her poems, of this Cum Laude PhD in Psychology and Criminology, with a master’s degree in Sexology. She performs her own clown show.
And how to communicate? And how to make all this inner richness known, as well as the overwhelming intelligence they have?
They themselves created “The Arrieta Method”, the language where the letters are drawn by moving the eyes. It also gave title to a documentary about their day-to-day life, directed by Jorge Gil Munárriz, that received the Audience Award in the in the XI San Sebastian Human Rights Film Festival (2013) -  http://www.elmetodoarrietafilm.com/en/.
The method has been registered and patented as “Unique Method”. They wish to share it with everybody to get out of isolation and silence agony those people that may need it.
